Terms & Conditions Ewis – Leading Solution provider and System Integrator in Albania

Thank you for choosing Ewis Company. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services, products, and website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Ewis” refers to Ewis Company, a registered business in Albania, operating under the domain ewiscom.com.
“You”, “Your”, “Client” refers to the individual, business, or entity purchasing, using, or accessing our services, products, or website.
“Services” include but are not limited to: system integration, security solutions (CCTV, alarms, fire systems), radio communication (PoC, DMR, satellite), telematics & taximeters, IoT hospitality systems, and training programs.
“Products” refer to hardware and software supplied by Ewis, including Bosch, Digitax, Vesta, Roger, and other certified brands.
“Contract” means any written agreement, quotation, or purchase order accepted by both parties.
2. Our Services
Ewis provides professional system integration and technology solutions across Albania and beyond. We are an authorized partner of leading global brands including Bosch Security Systems, Digitax, Vesta, and Roger.
- Design, supply, installation, and maintenance of security, communication, and telematics systems.
- Custom software integration and fleet management platforms (including Auttom dispatch).
- Training, certification, and compliance with Albanian and international standards (ISO, IMO, SOLAS, MID, OIML).
- Ongoing technical support and system upgrades under valid contracts.
All services are performed by certified engineers and comply with local regulations and industry best practices.
3. Eligibility & Account
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or a legally registered business entity.
- Provide accurate and complete information during inquiries or orders.
- Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials (if applicable).
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including suspected fraud, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.
4. Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance by Ewis. A binding contract is formed upon our written confirmation (email or signed quotation).
- Pricing: All prices are in ALL (Albanian Lek) or EUR and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Payment Terms: 50% deposit upon order confirmation, balance due before delivery or installation. Alternative terms may be agreed in writing.
- Taxes & Duties: Client is responsible for all applicable taxes, customs, and import duties.
- Cancellation: Orders cannot be canceled after production or procurement has begun. Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise.
5. Installation & Delivery
Delivery and installation timelines are estimates and subject to site readiness, permits, and supply chain availability.
- Client must provide safe access, power, and necessary infrastructure before installation.
- Risk passes to the Client upon delivery. Title passes upon full payment.
- Any delays caused by the Client may incur additional charges.
- Final system testing and handover occur only after full payment and site compliance.
6. Warranty & Support
All products come with the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1–3 years). Ewis provides:
- Installation Warranty: 12 months on labor and integration.
- Support: Included during warranty. Post-warranty support available via maintenance contracts.
- Response Time: Critical issues within 24 hours; standard within 48 hours (business days).
Warranty does not cover: Misuse, unauthorized modifications, force majeure, or normal wear and tear.
7. Intellectual Property
Ewis retains all intellectual property rights in:
- Custom software, configurations, and integration designs.
- Documentation, manuals, and training materials.
- Brand names, logos, and trademarks.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use delivered systems for their intended purpose only. Reverse engineering, copying, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.
8. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use our services for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt our systems, networks, or third-party services.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on equipment or software.
- Resell, lease, or sublicense Ewis-installed systems without written consent.
- Share access credentials or allow unauthorized use of managed platforms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Ewis shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, profit, or business interruption).
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for failures due to third-party networks, power outages, or client negligence.
10. Termination
Ewis may terminate or suspend services immediately if you:
- Fail to make payment when due.
- Breach these Terms or any contract.
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
Upon termination, all unpaid amounts become due immediately. Installed systems remain property of Ewis until fully paid.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tirana.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
